If consistent with Irish naming patterns then Unknown Eustace is very likely
either a John or a Patrick.

Note:
Mary Eustace is thought to be the same Mary Eustace listed in the 1855
Griffith's Valuation living in Kiltumper, Kilmihil, County Clare.

(Unknown Eustace-1). He was born 1834 in Kiltumper, Clare, and died
on 20 Sep 1918. John Eustace married on 5 Mar 1867 in Knockalough, Clare,
Ireland.
Note:
In the 1911 Census of Ireland, John Eustace was listed as age, 78, and a
retired cooper. He spoke Irish and English. He leased a home from "Major
General Stuart, Esq." Besides the Kiltumper National School, there were only
five other buildings listed in Kiltumper on this census. John Eustace's
neighbors were the Brogans, Cleary’s, Carmody's, and McMahon’s. John
Eustace died September 20, 1918 and is buried with his grandson in Shanakyle
Cemetery.

(John Eustace-2, Unknown Eustace-1). He was born on 12 November 1872
in Knockalough, Kilmihil, Co. Clare. He died on 1 January 1938 at his home
on Vandeleur Street, Kilrush, Co. Clare.
Note:
Patrick Eustace was a tailor in Kilrush. He married Kate McCarthy in
Kilrush on 23 January 1895 in St, Senan's Church, Kilrush, Co Clare.
Patrick and Kate's address on their marriage record was Glen, Kilrush. In
1938, Patrick became ill with stomach cancer and eventually died from
cardiac failure. His daughter Mary was present at his death on Vandeleur
Street. The death certificate lists Patrick Eustace’s age as 65.

Kate
McCarthy was the daughter of Michael McCarthy. She was born about 1877 in Kilrush, County Clare.
