8. John James Hardy Eustace

John James Hardy Eustace-Duckett He was born in 1859;

Parents: Captain Hardy Eustace (1827-1895) and Anne Dawson Duckett (died 1892), of Duckett’s Grove, County Carlow.  John James Hardy Eustace-Duckett married Gertrude Amelia Heber-Percy of Hodnet Hall, Salop, and Airmyn Hall, Yorkshire. In 1909 he assumed the additional name Duckett. He died in 1924. James Hardy Eustace-Duckett and Gertrude Amelia Heber-Percy had six children; Oliver Hardy Eustace-Duckett (1899-19XX); Hardy Roland Algernon Eustace Duckett( born 1896, died infancy; Roland Hugh Eustace-Duckett (1902-1920); Elizabeth Gertrude Eustace-Duckett (1897-1957); Doris Anna Eustace Duckett (married Mr. Hall-Hall); Diana Eustace Duckett (born 1905). Note: Roseanne Eustace, age 52, an unmarried school teacher was living alone at Chapel Lane, Balbriggan in 1901. Roseanne Eustace is listed in 1911 as an ex-national school teacher, age 64, living at house # 70, Balbriggan Urban, Balrothery District, Dublin with her 68-year old cousin, Michael White, who was retired from the liquor business. Also in the home was Wexford native, Mary Waldron, age 37, national school teacher.
