Catherine Eustace, a widow of Drogheda, Parish of St. Mary’s, died at age 53 on the 9th of June 1869. The death was registered 23 June 1869 in County Meath.

 

2. Edward Eustace,                                        75        New Ross                    9          585

Edward Eustace; married; age about 75 years, labourer, living at Ralph, Fethard District, New Ross,  County Wexford, died 17 April, 1869, of what was described as old age with his final illness lasting 3 months. Mary Jacob (her X mark) was present at the death which occurred at Ralph. The death was recorded on April 23, 1869 by H.G. Biggs, Registrar.  Edward Eustace was born about 1794. Edward Eustace of Fethard Parish, Grange, County Wexford is listed in Griffiths Valuation.

 

3. Edward Eustace,                                        0          Carlow                                    3          355

Edward Eustace; son of James Eustace, labourer and Mary Byrne of Leighlinbridge, Rathellen, County Carlow; died as an infant in 1869; he was born 15 June 1868.

John Eustace, a pensioner and likely the husband of Anne (Nancy) Dillon, died from pneumonia on April 23, 1869 in Loughnaminna, Ennis, Killanin, County Clare.

5. Margaret Eustace,                                     60        Cashel             3          366

Margaret Eustace, a servant, of the Cashel Workhouse, age about sixty years old, spinster, died February 17, 1869 of heart disease and paralysis (certified) since June 3, 1868. Martin Shea, Chief Resident of the Cashel Workhouse was the informant of the death which was registered March 5, 1869 in the District and Union of Cashel, County Tipperary; Michael P. Cormack, Registrar.

6. Mark Eustace,                                            50        New Ross                    19        505

Mark Eustace; married; age about 50 years, labourer, living at Temp (Templeleudigan), Templeudigan New Ross,  County Wexford, died December 31, 1869, of febris from which he suffered three weeks. Mary Eustace was present at the death which occurred at Templeleudigan. The death was recorded on December 29, 1869 by James Rickerby, Registrar.  Mark Eustace was born about 1819.

 

7. Mary Eustace,                                            4          Dublin, North              12        371

Mary Eustace, a silver plater’s daughter, of 13 Denmark Street, age about four years old, died July 26, 1869 of scarlatina (certified) one week. John (his X mark) Eustace of 13 Denmark Street was present at the death which was registered 26 July, 1869 in the North City District, Union of North Dublin; Gerald ???, Registrar.

8. Michael Eustace,                                        38        Dublin, North              7          459

Michael Eustace; married; age about 38 years, labourer, living at R.D.L. Asylum, Templeogue, District No. 3, North City, Dublin North, died 3 April, 1869. The cause of death for Michael Eustace is listed as general paralysis of 2 years, certified.  Thomas Fay was present at death at the R.D.L. Asylum. The death was recorded 6 April 1869.
Note: Frances Eustace nee Ross, a widowed linen weaver of 47 Arran Street, Dublin, married Thomas Hand, a carpenter on 29 July 1870 at St. Michan’s Catholic Church, Dublin.
