Anne Eustace; married, age about 65 years, farmer’s wife; living at Ballywilliam, District of Templeleudigan, New Ross Union,  County Wexford, died January 8, 1871, of asthma from which she suffered ten days; no medical attendant was present. Edmene (Edmond?) Eustace was present at the death which occurred at Ballywilliam. The death was recorded on January 23, 1871 by James Rickerby, Registrar.

Anne Eustace was born about 1806.

Bridget Eustice, a spinster of Ballyfolan, Manor Kilbride Parish, County Wicklow, age about 65, daughter of a farmer, died 9 October 1871 of heart disease, fifteen minutes duration; no medical attendant present. Michael Eustace, occupier of Ballyfolan was present at her death which occurred at Ballyfolan and was registered by William G. Merry, Registrar, on 14 October 1871 in the Blessington District, Naas Union, County Wicklow.

Note: Bridget Eustace was born about 1806.

Bridget Eustice, married of 19 Albert Court, South Dublin, age about 50, wife of a smith, died 10 November 1871 of gastroenteritis, 12 months duration; certified. William Eustace, 19 Albert Court, Dublin was present at her death which occurred at home and was registered by H. Labatt, Registrar, on 25 November 1871 at District No. 4, South Dublin Union.

Note: Bridget Eustace was born about 1821.

Bridget Eustice, widow of a Captain of 13 Poolbeg Street, District No. 4, South Dublin, age about 54, died 11 August 1871 of diarrhea, two days duration; certified, no medical attendant. Mary (her X mark) Mathers, 13 Poolbeg Street, Dublin was present at her death which occurred at home and was registered by J. Byrne, Deputy Registrar, on 16 August 1871 at District No. 4, South Dublin Union.

Note: Bridget Eustace was born about 1817.

Bridget Eustice, age about 58, widow of a labourer, Main Street Bagenalstown, County Carlow died 2 August 1871 of dropsy, four weeks duration, certified. Thomas (his X mark) O’Neill of Main Street, Bagenalstown was present at her death which occurred at Bagenalstown and was registered by Rich. Lewis, Registrar, on 4 August 1871 in the District of Bagenalstown, Carlow Union, County Carlow.

Note: Bridget Eustace was born about 1813.

Catherine Eustice, a 53 year old spinster, pauper, died of debility, 2 months duration; certified on 15 July 1871 at the South Dublin Union Workhouse. C. H. Bourne, Chief Officer, South Dublin Union Workhouse was present at her death which was registered by Marcus Purcell, Deputy Registrar, on July 22 1871 at District No. 4, South Dublin Union.

Note: Catherine Eustace was born about 1818.

Christopher Eustace, son of Thomas Eustace and Mary Murphy of Ballyfolan; died in 1871; he was born 4 May 1871 at Ballyfolan, Kilbride, County Wicklow.

Emily F. Eustice, a 27 year old spinster, no occupation listed, died of Tuberculosis pulmonis, about one year’s duration; certified at 2 South Brown Street, South Dublin; Arthur J. Eustace was present at her death which was registered by Marcus Purcell, Deputy Registrar, on June 13, 1871 at District No. 4, South Dublin Union.

Note: Emily Eustace was born about 1844.

James Eustice, an 18 year old bachelor, occupation labourer, died of pneumonia, ten days duration; certified at the Carlow Workhouse on 4 September 1871. William Darlington was present at his during the last illness. The death was registered by C. M. Dowell, Deputy Registrar, on 30 September, 1871 at Carlow.

 

12. Jane Eustace,                                            79        Rathdown                   17        723

Jane Eustace, a widowed 79 year old, Gentlewoman living at Stillorgan Park, Blackrock and Stillorgan District, Rathdown Union, County Dublin, died of heart disease, four years duration; uncertified at her home on October 15, 1871. Sarah (her X mark) Kavanagh was present at her death which was registered October 28, 1871; R.W. Pendleton, Registrar.

Note: Jane Eustace was born about 1792.

 

13. Mary Eustace,                                          87        Dublin, South              2          693

Mary Eustace, age about 87, wife of a small farmer, Upper Ballinascorney, County Dublin died 16 February 1871 of infirmity from old age, no medical attendant present. Anne (her X mark) Eustace of Upper Ballinascorney was present at her death which occurred at Upper Ballinascorney and was registered by Noble Seward, Deputy Registrar, on 24 February 1871 in the District of Tallaght, South Dublin Union, County Dublin.

Note: Mary Eustace nee Mason was born about 1784. She was married to Alexander Eustace who died at age 85 on June 8, 1872.

Mary from Gowerhass, daughter of Simon Eustace and Bridget Crotty of Gowerhass, Kilrush, County Clare was baptized 9 December 1870 at Kilrush and died as an infant in January 5, 1871 at Gowerhass.

Michael Eustace; a widower; died 16 February 1871 at Croghan. The cause of death is listed as senility. He was born about 1783, and worked as a shepherd (herder); he married Mary Malone (also Mullins)  and they were the parents of: Margaret Eustace; baptized September 1822 at Edenderry, Tullamore; Christopher Eustace; baptized February 1825 at Edenderry, Tullamore; who married Ann McCabe in July 1856 at Rhode Parish and died on 10 January 1896 at age 70 at Barrysbrooke; Elizabeth Eustace; baptized April 1827 at Edenderry, Tullamore; Jane Eustace; baptized May 1829 at Edenderry, Tullamore, and married William McCabe in March 1852 at Rhode; Teresa Eustace; baptized February 1832 at Rhode, who married James McEvoy in September 1867 at Rhode.

Patrick Eustace, age about 56, bachelor, occupation Wine porter, died 27 December 1871 at 2 Lower Cumberland Street. The cause of death is listed as bronchitis, two weeks; uncertified. Arthur Evers, 2 Lower Cumberland Street was present at the death which was registered by J.P. Nowlan, Deputy Registrar, on January 17, 1871 in the District of No. 1, North City, Union of Dublin, County and City of Dublin.

 

17. Thomas Eustace,                          60        Cashel             8          322

Thomas Eustace, age about 60, married, occupation shoemaker, died 23 April 1871 at the Cashel Workhouse. The cause of death is listed as bronchitis, twelve months; certified. James O’Brien, Chief Resident Officer of the Cashel Workhouse was present at the death was registered by Michael Cormac, Registrar, on 26 May 1871 in the District of Cashel, County Tipperary.
