Bridget Eustace of Monkstown Avenue, Kingstown, County Dublin, age about 1 ½ years, child of an engine fitter, died March 13, 1876 of English cholera, 12 hours, uncertified. Sarah Eustace of Monkstown Avenue, Kingstown, was present at the death which was registered in the Kingstown No. 1 District, Rathdown Union, County Dublin on April 10, 1876; Richard O’Flaherty, Deputy Registrar.

Note: Bridget Eustace, daughter of James Eustace and Sarah Rogers of Monkstown Avenue, Kingstown, County Dublin was born September 7, 1874.

2. Christopher Eustace,                                  29        Dublin, South              17        495

Christopher Eustace, bachelor, age 29 years, clerk, died at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin on November 21, 1876, of phthisis (several months), certified. Mary (her X mark) O’Donohoe of St. Vincents Hospital was present at the death which was registered in District No. 4, west, South Dublin Union, County Dublin on November 25, 1876; W. Williston, Deputy Registrar.

3. Edward Eustace,                                        1          Dublin, South              7          635

Edward Eustace of the village of Terenure, County Dublin, age 14 months and 12 days, son of a laborer, died March 31, 1876 of bronchitis, 14 days, certified. Jane Eustace of Terenure, was present at the death which was registered in the Rathfarnham District, South Dublin Union, County Dublin on April 1, 1876; Henry Croly, Registrar.

Note: Edward Eustace, son of Denis Eustace and Jane Norton of Terenure village, County Dublin was born 18 January 1875.

 

4. Margaret Eustace,                                     0          Dublin, North              12        349

Margaret Eustace of 27 Denmark Street, Dublin, age about ten weeks, child of a silver plater, died August 21, 1876 of pertussis, ten weeks, (not certified). Margaret Eustace of 27 Denmark Street, , was present at the death which was registered in the District No. 2, North City, North Dublin Union, County and City of Dublin on August 21, 1876; M.H. Wilson, Registrar.

Note: Margaret Eustace, daughter of John Eustace, silverplater and Margaret Bruce of 27 Denmark Street, Dublin was born 9 June 1876. Margaret Eustace is buried in Glasnevin Cemetery. There are nine people buried in the grave which is in the Garden Section. Letters DA; Figures 132.5. Included are: John Harvey; died 5 Feb 1845, Age 31 Gt. Longford Street;

5. Margaret Eustace,                                     84        Kilrush                        19        206

Margaret Eustace, a farmer’s widow, died in Cahermurphy, Kilmihil, County Clare on November 20, 1876 of rheumatism.  Robert Eustace, Sr., born about 1815 (believed to be her son) was present at her death.

6. Mary Eustace,                                            36        Naas                            2          853

Mary Eustace, a 36 year old coachman’s wife, died 10 February 1876 at Newpark, County Kildare of “softening of the brain,” nine weeks, certified. Owen Eustace of Portarlington was present at the death which was registered 10 February 1876 in the district of Kilmeague, Naas Union, County Kildare.

 

7. Patrick Eustace,                             1          Dublin, North              2          546

Patrick Eustace, age about 18 months, child of a sheet iron and copper worker of 26 Church Street, Dublin, died March 1, 1876, of bronchitis, one week, certified. William Eustace of 26 Church Street, Dublin was present at the death which was registered March 6, 1876. W.D. White, Registrar.

Note: Patrick Eustace was the unnamed Eustace child, born 4 July 1874 at Rotunda Hospital, Dublin to Michael Eustace; Smith of 4 Church Street, Dublin North and his wife Rose Quigley.
