1.  Agnes Eustace,                                          27        Athy                            3          318

Agnes Eustace, of Oldcourt, Athy District, County Kildare, age about 27 years, married, died February 16, 1877, no cause listed. Anne (her X mark) was present. The death was list registered in the District of Athy, County Kildare on March 2, 1875, Edward Ferris; Registrar.
Note: Agnes Eustace nee Muldowny was born about 1850. She married Martin Eustace of Athy

 

2. Bridget Eustace,                                         74        Kilrush                        4          257

Bridget Eustace nee Keane, a farmer’s widow in Breaffa, Kilmihil, died March 5, 1877 of old age and infirmity in Breaffa.  Her son Patrick was present at her death.  Bridget is believed to be the widow of Patrick/Richard Eustace and she was listed as a resident in Breaffa in the Kilmore Estate Auction Papers of 1850.  Her children included: James John Eustace, born about 1840; Patrick, born and died about 1844 and Patrick, born 1849 who married Maria Eustace daughter of Robert Eustace Sr. and Elizabeth Keane.

3. Eliza. Eustace,                                            46        Dublin, North              7          486

Eliza Eustace, of 103 Great Britain Street, Dublin City, married, a 46 year old silver plater’s wife, died 18 April 1877 at Hardwicke Hospital of bronchitis (one month) and pneumonia (eight days), not certified. Mary Anne (her X mark) McDonough was present at the death which was registered on 17 April, 1877 in the North City No. 3 District, Union of Dublin North.

Note: Eliza Eustace was born about 1831.

4. Harry John Fox Eustace,                           17        Dublin, North              2          488

Harry John Fox Eustace, of 62 Manor?? Street, Dublin City, age 17 years, died December 26, 1876 of consumption, ten months (not certified). J.H. Fox Eustace was present at the death which was registered by W.D. White, Registrar, on January 5, 1877 in the North City No. 3 District, Union of Dublin North.

Note: Harry John Fox Eustace was born about 1859.

5. James Eustace,                                           76        Dublin, North              7          492

James Eustace, of 6 Taafe’s Row, Dublin City, married, a 76 year old harness plater, died 23 April 1877 of heart disease. Joseph Dardis was present at the death which occurred at the North Dublin workhouse and was registered by W.D. White, Registrar, on 28 April, 1877 in the North City No. 3 District, Union of Dublin North. James Eustace was born about 1801.

 

6. James Eustace,                                           72        Naas                            7          742

James Eustace, of Ballyfolan, County Wicklow, a 72 year old bachelor farmer, died 19 April 1877 following a seven year bout with dropsy. Michael Eustace was present at the death which occurred at Ballyfolan and was registered by Wm. G. Murrey, Registrar, on 26 April, 1877 in the Blessington & Ballymore District, Naas Union. James Eustace was born about 1805.

 

7. Jane Eustace,                                              41        Dublin, South              2          613

Jane Eustace, of 8 Weaver’s Square, Dublin City, a 41 year old dyer’s wife died 19 March 1877 of a stomach disease at No. 8 Lienster Road West. Arthur Eustace was present at the death which was registered March 31, 1877 in the South City No. 1 District, Union of Dublin. Jane Eustace was born about 1836.

 

8. Kate Eustace,                                 1          Kilrush                        9          266

Kate Eustace from Gowerhass, the daughter of Simon and Bridget Crotty Eustace of Gowerhass, died in Kilrush, County Clare.  Kate Eustace was likely the twin of Mary Eustace who followed her in death by one week.

9. Laurence Eustace,                          60        Dublin, South              12        416

Laurence Eustace, married, a 60 year old Dublin shoemaker died 14 July 1877 at the South Dublin Union workhouse of unknown causes. C. H. Bourne, Chief Resident at the workhouse was present at the death which was registered 16 July 1877 in the South City No. 1 District, Union of Dublin. There are two listings of Laurence Eustace in Griffith’s Valuation of 1848-1864. One is at Charles Street West, Inn Quay Ward Parish, Dublin and another listing shows Laurence Eustace in St. Michan’s Parish, Charles Street West, Dublin City. Laurence Eustace was born about 1817.

 

10. Mary Eustace,                                          70        Dublin, North              17        430

Mary Eustace, a spinster, no occupation listed, of the North Dublin Union Workhouse, County Dublin, age about 70 years, died November 15, 1877. The cause of death listed as paralysis, certified. Mary McAlley was present at the death which was registered in Number 3, North City, Dublin on 17 November, 1877, W.D. White; Registrar.
Note: Mary Eustace was born about 1807.


11. Mary Eustace,                                          1          Kilrush                        9          266

Mary Eustace from Gowerhass, daughter of Simon and Bridget Crotty Eustace of Gowerhass died in Kilrush, County Clare.  Mary was likely the twin of Kate Eustace who predeceased her by a week.

12. Michael Eustace,                                      6          Kilrush                        14        200

Michael Eustace, son of John Eustace a farmer and Ellen Reidy from Leitrim, died of whooping cough on September 11, 1877 at 15 days of age.  The death occurred in Leitrim, Craggaknock, Kilrush, County Clare.

13. William Eustace,                                      0          Dublin, North              7          474

William Eustace, age about eight months, rate collector’s child, died December 29, 1876 at 1 Lurgan Street, Dublin, of bronchitis, one week (no medical attendant). M. Eustace of 90 Seville Place, (Dublin) was present at the death which was registered in District No. 2 North City, North Dublin Union and County and City of Dublin on June 12, 1877; J.E. Kenny, Deputy Registrar.

Note: William Eustis, son of Hardy Eustace and Mary Woods was born 6 July 1876.

14.  William Eustis,                                        0          Wexford                      4          677

William Eustis of Brandane, County Wexford, age about two months, farmer’s child, died February 18, 1877 of impression on the chest from birth (no medical attendant). Mark Eustis of Brandane, (County Wexford) was present at the death which was registered in the Bannow District, Union and County of Wexford on February 18, 1877; James Boyd, Registrar.

Note: William Eustis, son of Mark Eustis, farmer and Mary Carroll was born 12 Dec 1876.
