Anne, daughter of John Eustace, footman at Cheekpoint, County Waterford and Mary Cosgrave, was born 20 June 1881 and died soon after birth.

 

2. Elizabeth Eustace,              3Q       75        Mullingar                    3          185

Elizabeth Eustace nee Dalton, of the Townland of Cullenhugh, Multyfarnham Parish, Westmeath died 1 July 1882 at the age of 75, in the presence of her son Patrick.  She was married to William Eustace who died 14 April 1887 at an advanced age (the records say 101 years) in Cullenhugh, in the presence of his son Michael. 

Note: The son Michael Eustace married Catherine McKernan on 4 November 1864 according to Mullingar, County Westmeath records.  They had a son W. Eustace who was present when Michael died on 23 April 1889 in Cullenhugh.

James Eustace, from 9 Linen Hall Street, Dublin, bachelor, age about 23 years, laborer, died on March 15, 1882 at Hardwicke Hospital, Dublin of typhus (11 days), uncertified. Mary (her X mark) Smith of Hardwick Hospital was present at the death which was registered March 21, 1883 in the District No. 3, North City, Dublin Union, City and County of Dublin; W.D. White, Registrar.

John Eustace, child of an engine fitter, age about 6 months, died on March 3, 1882 at 25 Bath Avenue, Irishtown, Dublin of teething (4 months), convulsions (one week), uncertified, bronchitis (21 days), dentition (10 days). Margaret O’Brien of 3 James’s Place was present at the death which was registered March 6, 1882 in the District of Donnybrook, Union of Dublin South, County Dublin; A. Hudson, Assistant Registrar.
Note: John Eustace, son of John Eustace, engine fitter and Helena O’Brien was born 25 August 1881 at 25 Bath Avenue, Donnybrook, Dublin South. The informant was Margaret O’Brien.

 

5. Mary Eustace,                                2Q       0          Dublin, South              2          485

Mary Eustace, infant child, daughter of ________, an engine fitter and Sarah Eustace of 25 Bath Avenue, Dublin South, died five minutes after a pre-mature birth in the seventh month of pregnancy on 14 April 1882. The death was recorded May 1, 1882 in the District of Donnybrook, Union of Dublin South, County Dublin by A. Hudson, Assistant Registrar.

6. Mary Eustace,                                3Q       75        Carlow                        3          262

Mary Eustace, age about 75, the widow of Thomas Eustace, a laborer at Myshall, died August 1, 1882 of old age, no medical attendant. The death was recorded August 16, 1882 in the District of Fenagh and Myshall, Union of Carlow, County Carlow by W.F. Fryer, Registrar.

Note: Mary Eustace was born about 1807.

 

7. Richard Eustace,                            3Q       72        Cork                           5          90

Richard Eustace, age about 72, a shopkeeper, died at 71 Douglas Street, Cork on July 9, 1882 of general debility, certified. Sarah Hughes, sister-in-law, of 68 Grand Parade, Cork was present at the death which was recorded July 13, 1882 in the District of No. 8, South, Union and City of Cork by T. Crowley, Registrar.
Note:
Richard was born about 1810; he is listed in Griffith’s Valuation at Youghal, Main Street

 

8. Sara Eustace,                                 1Q       80        Cork                           5          114

Sarah Eustace, a spinster, age about 80, a Lady, died at  Duncan Street, Cork on February 8, 1882 of old age and natural decay (some months), certified. Nicolas Grattan, Physician, was in attendance during the last months of her illness. J.P. Golding, Registrar, recorded the death February 17, 1882 in District of No. 6, Union and City of Cork.

Note: Sarah Eustace was born about 1802.

 

9. William Eustace,                            2Q       2          Dublin, South              2          493

William Eustace, about two years old, son of John Eustace, an engine fitter and Helena O’Brien of 25 Bath Avenue, Dublin South, died June 16, 1882 of water on the brain (21 days), uncertified and tubercular meningitis (21 days and coma three days, certified). The death was recorded June 13, 1882 in the District of Donnybrook, Union of Dublin South, County Dublin by A. Hudson, Assistant Registrar.

Note: William Eustace was born 26 July 1879 at Beggar’s Bush, Dublin. John Eustace, father, of 25 Bath Avenue, Dublin South on 16 January 1880, recorded the birth in Dublin.

 

William Eustace, child of an engine fitter, age about two years, died on June 16, 1882 at 25 Bath Avenue, Irishtown, Dublin of teething  (4 months), convulsions (one week), uncertified, bronchitis (21 days), dentition (10 days). Margaret O’Brien of 3 James’s Place was present at the death which was registered March 6, 1882 in the District of Donnybrook, Union of Dublin South, County Dublin; A. Hudson, Assistant Registrar.
Note: John Eustace, son of John Eustace, engine fitter and Helena O’Brien was born 25 August 1881 at 25 Bath Avenue, Donnybrook, Dublin South. The informant at birth was Margaret O’Brien.
