Agnes Eustace, daughter of Richard Eustace, ex-constable, Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC); and Honora Gilligan of Claremorris, County Mayo, died at age 2 in 1888. She was born 6 October 1886 at Claremorris.

 

2. Alice Eustace,                     1Q       36        Dublin, South              2          654

Alice Eustace, married, age about 36 years old, dyer’s wife, of 36 Aungier Street, South Dublin District, South Dublin Union, County Dublin died 15 February, 1888 from heart disease (found dead), certified by inquest. The information was received from C. Whyte, Esquire, Dublin City Coroner. The death was recorded 20 February, 1888.

Note: Alice Eustace was born about 1852.

 

3. Anne Eustace,                     3Q       1          Naas                            2          547

Anne, daughter of John Eustace and Bridget Bealin of Ballyfolan, Kilbride, County Wicklow died in 3rd quarter, 1888 at about one year of age. Anne was born 25 March 1887 and baptized the next day at Blessington.

Catherine Eustace, daughter of John and Ellen (Reidy) Eustace, died in Leitrim, Kilmihil, County Clare.

5. Christopher Eustace,          2Q       21        Dublin, South              2          515

Christopher Eustace, bachelor, farmer, about 21 years old, son of a farmer (Alexander Eustace), of Ballinascorney Upper, County Dublin, died 5 March 1888 from phthisis, (two years), uncertified (no medical attendant present). His sister Mary (her X mark) Eustace was present at the death, which occurred at Ballinascorney, County Dublin. The death was recorded April 1, 1888; P.M. Poch, Registrar.

Note: Christopher Eustace, son of Alexander Eustace and Anne Jones, was born 29 October 1866 at Ballinascorney, County Dublin.

 

6. Jane Eustace,                      2Q       8          Kilrush                                    4          218

Jane Eustace, the daughter of John and Ellen (Reidy) Eustace, died in Leitrim, Kilmihil, County Clare.

7. Johanna Eustace,               1Q       4          Waterford                   4          667

Johanna Eustace, of Henry Street, Waterford, daughter of William Eustace, Sub Constable R.I.C.; and Ellen Griffin died November 2, 1887 of scarlatina (certified). The death was recorded January 3, 1888 in District No. 2, Waterford Union, County Waterford by P. Cutler, Assistant Registrar.

Note: Johanna Eustace was born 15 May, 1883; her parents William Eustace and Ellen Griffin were living on Manor Street, Waterford No. 2, Waterford. Her birth was registered:  22 May, 1883 in Waterford.

 

8. John Eustace,                     2Q       27        Kilrush                                    4          234

John Eustace, single from Knockerra, Royal Irish Constabulary (R.I.C.), was the son of James and Ann (McNamara) Eustace.  Headstone Transcription:  EUSTACE  John Eustace died Dec 16 1887 age 27 years.  May he RIP. Amen.

9. Julia Eustace,                     3Q       72        Dublin, South              2          434

Julia Eustace, widow, age about 72 years old, no occupation listed, of Fishamble Street, South Dublin District, South Dublin Union, County Dublin died August 20, 1888 from bronchitis, certified. The occupier of the South Dublin Union (S.D.U.) Workhouse was present at the death which occurred at S.D.U Workhouse. The death was recorded August 25, 1888. Julia Eustace was born about 1816.

10. Kate Eustace,                   1Q       17        Gorey                          2          743

Kate Eustace, spinster, about 17 years old, laundress, of Kilbride, County Wexford died December 28, 1887 from acute bronchitis (14 days), certified, meningitis (6 days), certified. Sarah Eustace, mother, was present at the death which was recorded in the District of Gorey, Gorey Union, County Wexford on January 11, 1888; W.J. Weldon, Registrar.

11. Mary Elizabeth Eustace,              1Q       62        Rathdown       2          808

Mary Eustace, spinster, age about 62 years old, an annuitant, of 35 Sidney Avenue, Blackrock, died March 14, 1888 from purpura hemorrhagica  (9 months), low fever (one day), certified. Eleanor Eustace of 35 Sydney Avenue, sister, was present at the death which was recorded in the District of Blackrock, Rathdown Union, County Dublin on March 21, 1888; J.W. Boyce; Registrar.

Note: Mary Elizabeth Eustace was born about 1826.

12. Mary Eustace,                  4Q       76        Killadysert                  4          181

Mary Eustace, widow of a laborer, died of a cough of six weeks duration on October 12, 1888 in Furroor, Kilmaley, County Clare.  However, Mary’s death record was recorded in Ballynacally, Killadysert, County Clare.  Her son Pat Doohan from Furroor was present at her death which suggests that she may have been a second wife to a Eustace man possibly from Killadysert who preceded her in death.  She was likely originally from Furroor, Kilmaley.

13. Michael Eustace,              3Q       13        Dublin, South              2          473

Michael Eustace, age about 13 years, son of Stephen Eustace, baker and Jane Kerry/Kelly of 20 Whitefriar Street, Dublin, died of valve disease of the heart on September 23, 1888. Jane Eustace was present at his death which was registered 24 September 1888; C. Nesbitt, Assistant Registrar. Michael Eustace was born in Dublin on 7 February 1874;
