Anna Eustace of Castlemore ; married ; age about 66 years, died October 26, 1892 at Castlemore from malignant disease of the uterus (12 months), certified. W.E. (William E.) Grogan, her son-in-law of Hardymount was present at the death which was registered in Tullow, County Carlow on December 5, 1892; H. Kidd, Registrar.

Note: Anna Eustace, nee Duckett, was born about 1826. She was the daughter of John Dawson Duckett of Duckett’s Grove, County Carlow. She married Captain Hardy Eustace, J.P; of Castlemore and Hardymount on September 11, 1856. Their eldest son John James Hardy Rowland Eustace assumed the name Duckett name in compliance with the will of his uncle William Duckett, who died in 1908. He became known as Eustace-Duckett. Under the terms of the will, his wife Maria Georgina Duckett had the right to continue in occupation of the Duckett’s Grove mansion until her death and she was to be paid a yearly income of 4,000 Pounds.

James Eustace, Married, age about 68 years old, occupation Gardener, died of Paralysis and constipation (certified) on August 31, 1892 at the South Dublin Union Workhouse, Dublin city. A. Fraser, occupier, South Dublin Union Workhouse was present at the death which was registered September 3, 1892. James Eustace was born about 1824

 

3. James Eustace,                               1Q       30        Naas                            2          887

James Eustace, of Shankhill, County Wicklow; Bachelor, age about 30 years old, occupation Farmer, died of Phthisis (Tuberculosis), two years duration, no medical attendant present on 14 January, 1892 at Shankhill. Ellen Eustace, his sister was present at the death which was registered January 19, 1892.

Notes: James Eustace, the son of Thomas Eustace and Mary Murphy was born at Shankhill in March 1861 and baptized 31 March 1861; his sponsors were Alexander Eustace and Judith Kelly. Ellen Eustace, his sister present at his death was born at Ballyfolan and baptized 30 March 1874; her sponsors Christopher Kelly and Brigid Kelly.

Jane Eustace, born about 1812 was married and a laborer’s wife who died of natural exhaustion on March 8, 1892 at Crossmore, Killadysert, Labasheeda, County Clare.  John Halloran of Bivoran was present at her death.

John Eustace, of Derryoughta, Monasterevin District, County Kildare; Married, age about 79 years old, Labourer, died 12 March 1892, from old age and general disability; no medical attendant present, at Derryoughta. Bridget (her X mark) Eustace, his daughter was present at the death which was registered 11 April 1892. John Eustace was born about 1813.

 

8. Julia Eustice,                                  4Q       80        Dublin, Sorth              2          467

Julia Eustace; age about 80 years; (born about 1812); spinster; died 17 October 1892 at Ballinascorney, County Dublin; she was accidentally killed when part of the house roof fell on her. The death was registered on 17 November 1892. The informant was H. Harty, Coroner, County Dublin.

Notes: Julia was most likely the daughter of Alexander Eustace and Mary Mason of Ballinascorney, County Dublin.

 

9. Margaret Eustice,                          2Q       74        Balrothery                  2          291

Margaret Eustace, Widow, age about 74 years old, occupation _ousekeeper, died of old age and debility, no medical attendant present, on 15 June, 1892 at Balbriggan, Union of Balrothery, County Dublin. Roseanne Eustace, daughter, was present at the death which was registered 25 June, 1892. Margaret Eustace was born about 1818.

Notes: Roseanne Eustace, age 52, not married; Roman Catholic, was a school teacher living at Chapel Lane, Balbriggan in 1901. Roseanne Eustace, age 64, unmarried, ex-national school teacher, was living at Balbriggan urban in 1911 with her cousin Michael White, unmarried, age 68, retired from the liquor business.

Martin Eustace, widower, age about 68 years old, occupation Labourer, died of Debility lasting six months (certified) on November 17, 1892 at the Athy Workhouse, County Kildare. John Hyland, occupier, Athy Workhouse was present at the death which was registered January 20, 1892. Martin Eustace was born about 1824

 

11. Mary Eustace,                              1Q       85        Kilrush                        4          255

Mary Eustace, the wife of Daniel Eustace of Doonagan, Cragaknock, County Clare, died on November 18, 1891 of debility at the age of 85 with her daughter Mary (Margaret?) Griffen was present.

12. Mary Eustice,                               4Q       0          Dublin, South              2          450     

Mary Eustace, age about four days, daughter of Laurence Eustace, laborer, died of infantile phthisis, four days, (certified) on December 24, 1892 at Terenure, County Dublin. Laurence (his X mark) Eustace, the child’s father, was present at the death which was registered December 26, 1892.

Note: Mary Eustace was born 20 Dec 1892 to Laurence Eustace, laborer and Mary Borne/Byrne? of Terenure, County Dublin.

13. Nicholas Eustice,                          4Q       60        Dublin, South              2          437

Nicholas Eustace, Bachelor, age about 60 years old, occupation Labourer, died of acute bronchitis lasting 14 days (certified) on November 3, 1892 at home on Naas Road, Clondalkin, South Dublin. Catherine (her X mark) Whelan was present at the death which was registered December 5, 1892. Nicholas Eustace was born about 1833.

Note: He is probably the same Nicolas Eustace, present at the death of his mother, Catharine Eustace, a 70 year old widow, (wife of labourer) who died December 9, 1872 at Brideswell Road, Clondalkin.

 

14. William Eustice,                           3Q       22        Waterford                   4          461

William Eustace, age about 22 years, bachelor, pipe maker, died of enteritis, eight days, (certified) on July 19, 1892 at the Leper Hospital, Waterford. John Eustace of Bank Lane, William’s father, was present at the death which was registered July 23, 1892 in the Waterford District No. 1, Waterford Union, County Waterford; P. Cutter, Registrar.

Note: William Eustace was born about 1870 to John Eustace of Bank Lane, Waterford.
