Bridget Eustace; a laborer’s child, age about 1 ½ years, died October 22, 1894, at Ardristan, County Carlow of what was described as decline, no medical attendant present. Bridget (her X mark) Eustace, mother, of Ardristan was present at the death which was registered October 31, 1894, in Tullow District, Carlow Union, County Carlow; H. Kidd, Registrar.

Note: Bridget Eustace, daughter of Patrick Eustace and Bridget Slye of Ardristan was born 25 April 1893 at Ardristan, County Carlow. Source: GRO.
 

2. Catherine Eustace,                         1Q       50        Kilrush                        4          269

Catherine Eustace, the wife of Michael Eustace R.I.C. pensioner, died of hypertrophy of the liver on January 3, 1894 on Toler Street, Kilrush, County Clare.  Michael Eustace was present at her death.  She had a daughter, Clare Eustace, who appears to have been a nun in Dublin.

Christopher Eustace; a bachelor, age about 14 years, son of an iron plate worker (Michael Eustace), died May 21, 1894, at 27 Church Street, Dublin of phthisis (six months), certified. Michael (his X mark) Eustace, father, of 27 Church Street was present at the death which was registered May 23, 1894, in District No. 3 North City, Union of Dublin, County and city of Dublin; W.D. White, Registrar.

Note: Christopher Eustace, son of Michael Eustace and Roseanne Quigley of 55 Upper Church Street, Dublin, was born 12 December 1879 at Rotunda Hospital 55 Church Street, Dublin. He was baptized 22 December 1879 at St. Michan (R.C.) Church.

4. Daniel Eustice,                                2Q       5          Dublin, North              2          429

Daniel Eustace of 27 Church Street, Dublin; male child, age about five years, two months of age, son of an iron place worker, died June 17, 1894 of hydrocephalus, two days, certified. Michael (his X mark), father, of 27 Church Street, was present at the death which was registered June 21, 1894 in the North Dublin No. 3 District, North Dublin Union, City of Dublin.

Note: Daniel Eustace; son of Michael Eustace and Roseanne Quigley was born  __________ 1889 at 27 Church Street, Dublin.

5. James Eustace,                               1Q       81        Naas                            2          786

James Eustace a married farmer living at Kilbride, Blessington District, County Wicklow died 18 March 1894 at about age 81 years. The cause of death is listed as stricture of the urethra, 3 months (Certified 2/3/94); Michael Eustace, son of Kilbride was present at the death which occurred at Kilbride and was registered 21 March 1887 by K. Reilly, Registrar. James Eustace was born about 1813.

Note: A headstone at Manor Kilbride , County Wicklow cemetery reads as follows: James Eustace; died January 5, 1810; about 66 years of age, (born about 1744); erected by his wife Catherine; also James Eustace, died March 17, 1894; aged 84 years.

 

6. Johanna Eustace,                           3Q       48        Dublin, South 2          408

Johanna Eustace of 2 Tivoli Avenue, Dublin; wife of a laborer, age about 48 years, died July 16, 1894 of general debility and cardiac disease, (six weeks), certified. Ed Eustace, her son of 2 Tivoli Avenue, was present at the death which was registered July 17, 1894 in the Rathmines District, South Dublin Union, County Dublin; Rich. Thomas Hearnes, Registrar.

7. John Neilson Eustace,                    4Q       27        Dublin, North              2          353

John Neilson Eustace of Elmhurst, Glasnevin, B.A; M.B; BCH; JCD, age about 27 years, died October 9, 1894 of pulmonary tuberculosis and peritonitis, (18 months), certified. Henry Marcus  Eustace, brother of the deceased was present at the death which was registered November 1, 1894 in the Finglas and Glasnevin District, North  Dublin Union, County Dublin; Joseph A. Ryan, Registrar.

Note: John Neilson Eustace, son of Dr. John Eustace and Maria Eliza Neilson of Coolock and Drumcondra was born 6 October 1867;

Margaret Eustace, a spinster with “no fixed address,” died of lupus on April 9, 1894 in the Killadysert Workhouse, County Clare.

Maria Eustace of Long’s Cottages, Adelaide Road, Kingstown, and a baker’s widow, age about 28 years, died August 1, 1894 of phthisis (one year), no medical attendant. Margaret (her X mark) Murphy, mother of the deceased of 2 Long’s Cottages, was present at the death which was registered August 11, 1894  in the Kingstown District, Rathdown Union, County Dublin; J.F. Newland, Registrar.

Notes: Patrick Eustace of Kingstown, District/Parish Ballybrack, County Dublin, son of Michael & Margaret Eustace of Kingstown, County Dublin; married Maria Murphy, of Sandy Cove, Co. Dublin, daughter of Moses & Margaret Murphy of Sandy Cove on 23 November 1890 at Ballybrack Parish (R.C.), County Dublin. Patrick Eustace, baker of Long’s Cottages, Adelaide road, Kingstown, died December 20, 1891 of phthisis (one year), no medical attendant.

Mary Eustace a farmer at Castlemore, spinster, age about 72 years, died September 17, 1894 of consumption, no medical attendant. Edward  Eustace, nephew of the deceased was present at the death which was registered September 21, 1894 in the Tullow District, Carlow Union, County Carlow; H. Kidd, Registrar. Mary Eustace was born about 1822.

Mary Eustace a car owner’s wife, age about 42 years, died September 17, 1894 of phthisis (certified). Patrick  Eustace of 2 Bella Place, widower of the deceased was present at the death which was registered December 18, 1894  in No. 1 North City District, North Dublin Union, County Dublin; J.P. Garland, Registrar.

Notes: Patrick Eustace, coachman, son of Thomas Eustace; coachman (deceased) married Mary Walsh daughter of William Walsh, farmer on September 30, 1880 at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Dublin. Mary Walsh was born about 1852.

12. Mary Anne Eustace,                     3Q       91        Dublin, North              2          330

Mary Anne Eustace of 79 Upper Dorset Street, Dublin, widow, a housekeeper, age about 91 years, died July 26, 1894 of senile decay (certified). Edward Crozier of 9 Temple Street is listed as the informant with notation “causing the body to be buried.”  The death was registered July 27, 1894 in No. 1 North City District, North Dublin Union, County Dublin; J.P. Garland, Registrar. Mary Anne Eustace was born about 1803.

13. Rose Eustace                                1Q       24        Tullamore                   3          551

Rosanna Eustace nee Killeavy, daughter of Michael, died 4 December 1893 on Store Street, Tullamore; she was born about 1870. She married Frederick Eustace, on 18 June 1889 at Tullamore Parish. Frederick Eustace, born 24 May 1869 in Kilkenny District 1, was the son of William Eustace, a plumber and later gas works manager in Kilkenny and later in Tullamore, King’s County and Marian Miller. Frederick Eustace married (2) Brigid Killeavy on 12 July 1897 at Tullamore. Children of Frederick Eustace and Rosanna Killeavy; Marjorie Eleonore Josephine Eustace; baptized 3 August 1891 at Tullamore; Emily Rose Eustace; baptized 31 January 1892 at Tullamore; and Jane Eustace; baptized 3 December 1893 at Tullamore.
