Anne Eustace nee Farrell of 4 Lower Exchange Street, Dublin, died 5 July 1907 at Coombe Hospital, Dublin from shock resulting from a ruptured uterus. Jeannie McCleery was present at her death. Her husband Christopher Eustace was a car driver (jarvey). Anne Eustace was about 34 years old at the time of her death which was registered in Dublin on 8 July 1907. Anne Eustace was the mother of at least eight children; Michael, born 11 August 1888; Harriet, born 25 March 1890; Christopher, born about 1892; Mary, born 4 January 1894; James, born 26 September 1895; William, born 27 September 1897; Laurence, born 2 August 1899; and John Joseph, born 27 January 1903. The family lived south of the Liffey River on Cook Street and Lower Exchange Street near St. Audeon’s Church in the area known as the Liberties.

Anne Eustace of Courtlough; about 2 ½ years old, a laborer’s child; died on January 27, 1907 at home; of rachitis (one year), certified. Mary (her X mark) Eustace, aunt, also of Courtlough was the informant of the death which was registered February 26, 1907 in the Balbriggan District, Balrothery Union, County Dublin..

Note: Anne Eustace was born 15 June 1904 to John Eustace, farm labourer of Courtlough and Anne McDowell.

 

3. Bridget Eustace,                 1Q       20        Dublin, South              2          575

Bridget Eustace, spinster, age about 20 years, servant, died on December 16, 1906 at Upper Ballinascorney, County Dublin, of Rheumatic fever (one month), certified. Teresa Eustace (sister) of Upper Ballinascorney, was present at the death which was registered February 7, 1907 in the District of Tallaght, South Dublin Union, County Dublin; P.M. Prett, Registrar.
Note: Bridget Eustace, daughter of Alexander Eustace and Anne Jones was born 22 and baptized 26 January 1887 at Bohernabreena R.C, County Dublin. Teresa Eustace was born 14 July 1885 at Ballinascorney.

 

4. Catherine Eustace, 1Q       65        Mullingar                    3          225

Catherine Eustace of Farragh; married, about 65 years old, a farmer’s wife; died on February 10, 1907 at home; of influenza (three days), cardiac failure, certified. John Eustace, son, also of Farragh was the informant of the death which was registered February 15, 1907 in the Multyfarnham District, Mullingar Union, County Westmeath; Thos. Daly, Registrar.

Note: Catherine Eustace nee Parker was born about 1842. The 1901 Census of Ireland shows Kate Eustace, age 63, her husband Michael Eustace; age about 65 and adult children Mary, 30; Thomas, 20; and William,18; as residents of a house 10 in Rathbennett (Ballinalack), Westmeath.

Catherine Eustace nee Parker died 10 February 1907. Her husband Michael Eustace died 21 January 1910 in Townland Farrow (also Farrau).

Edward Eustace, of 7 Hibernian Avenue, child, age about three months old, died September 14, 1907 at 4 North Brunswick Street, of meningitis (three days), certified. J. Donohoe, inmate of 4 North Brunswick Street was present at the death which was registered September 17, 1907 in the District of No. 3, North City, North Dublin Union, County and city of Dublin; J. P. Garland, Registrar.
 

6. Eliza. Eustace,                    3Q       87        Athy                            3          225

Eliza Eustace, widow of a laborer, age about 87 years, died on September 14, 1907 at Derryoughta, of senile decay, certified. Bridget Dunne, her granddaughter of Derryoughta was present at the death which was registered September 28, 1907 in the District of Monastervan, Athy Union, County Kildare; D.J. Ryan, Registrar.

Note: Eliza Eustace nee Ellard, was the wife of Lawrence Eustace of Derryoughter, County Kildare. She was about 1820.

 

7. John Eustace,                     3Q       34        Edenderry                   3          303

John Eustace, bachelor, age about 34 years, farmer’s son, died on July 3, 1907 at Togher, Croghan, of pulmonary tuberculosis (four years), intestinal tuberculosis (three months), certified. Christopher Eustace of Togher, Croghan, was present at the death which was registered July 23, 1907 in the District of Rhode, Edenderry Union, King’s County; M. Ennis, Registrar.

Note: John Eustace, son of Christopher Eustace and Mary Catherine Rigney was born in April 1873 at Rhode, County Offaly.

Catherine Mary Eustace was born 18 September 1905 at Courtlough, Balbriggan to John Eustace, farm laborer and Anne McDowell.

 

9. Mary Eustace,                    3Q       87        Kilrush                        4          181

Mary Eustace nee Galvin, a farmer’s widow, died of Bronchitis at Cahermurphy on September 2, 1907.  Margaret Eustace was present at her death.  Mary married Patrick Eustace of Cahermurphy.  Their children included:  John born in 1853; Honor born 1857; and Daniel born 1861.

10. Thomas Eustace,              2Q       65        New Ross                    4          473

Thomas Eustace, of Ballylane, widower, age about 65 years, a laborer, died at the Wexford Workhouse on June 2, 1907 of bronchitis (6 months), certified. Andrew Meaney, occupier of the workhouse was present at the death which was registered June 29, 1907 in the District and Union of New Ross, County Wexford; J. Barron, Assistant Registrar.

Note: Thomas Eustace, and his wife Johanna, both age about 60 years are listed in the 1901 census living in house number 3, Mylers park, Rochestown, County Wexford. Thomas listed his occupation as farm laborer. Both Thomas and Johanna could not read and write and were Roman Catholic.
