James Eustace from Knockerra, Kilrush, a widower and laborer, died of senile decay on November 12, 1910 at Union Hospital, Kilrush, County Clare.  His wife was Ann/ Johanna McNamara.

2. James Eustace,                               1Q       66        Carlow                                    3          289

James Eustace, a 66 year old bachelor from the Naas Workhouse, died of degeneration of the heart (six months), certified; on January 18, 1910 at the Carlow District Asylum. E.J. McKenna, occupier of the asylum was present at the death which was registered in the Carlow District and Union Registration Office, County Carlow on January 31, 1910.

3. Jane Eustace,                                  1Q       69        Kells                            2          693

Jane Eustace (nee Keegan) of Cannon Street, Kells, about 69 years old, widower of a plasterer; died 13 October 1910 from cancer of the bladder and cardiac failure, certified. Patrick J. Eustace, of Cannon Street, Kells, her son, was present at the death which was registered March 1, 1910 in the Kells District, Union of Kells, County Meath by Michael Murray, Assistant Registrar.

Note: Jane Keegan, (daughter of John Keegan, dealer), age 22, of Knockshaugan married Patrick Eustace, (son of John Eustace), age 30, labourer’s son at the Roman Catholic chapel of Athboy on October 28, 1872. The 1901 census shows that Jane Eustace was living with her son Patrick, age 23 on Farrell Street, Kells, Meath

 

4. John Eustace,                                 1Q       55        Dublin, North              2          390

John Eustace, a bachelor, about 55 years old, occupation, tram laborer, died at Byrne’s Lane, Dollymount of lung congestion, certified, on February 16, 1910. Henry Eustace, his brother, occupier of house at Byrne’s Lane, Dollymount, County Dublin was present at the death which was registered in the Clontarf and Howth District, North Dublin Union, County Dublin on February 17, 1910.

Note: John Eustace was born about 1855.  The 1901 census shows John Eustace, age 48 years, bachelor, agricultural laborer, listed as household head at house 35 in Greenlanes (Clontarf East, Dublin). Also in the home were Mary Jane Eustace, age 40, sister; Ellen Eustace, age 38, sister; Henry Eustace, age 28, all unmarried. Edward Murphy, age 28 was a boarder and an additional household occupant was a nurse child named Christopher Byrne, age 9 years.

Henry Eustace, age 39, single, tram road laborer, born County Dublin, was listed as the head of house 16 in Byrne's Lane, Dollymount (Clontarf East, Dublin) on the 1911 Census of Ireland. Also in the home were Ellen Eustace, age 49, sister, single; Dorothy Florence Hughes, age, nurse child, age 8 years, Simon Quinn, nurse child, age about one year and Louis Mulloy, age 28 years, a border. All Eustace family members were Roman Catholic and could read and write.

 

5. Kate            Eustace,                     4Q       70        Kilrush                        4          197

Kate Eustace from Cooraclare, single and a servant, died November 5, 1910 of chronic heart disease and dropsy in the Union Hospital, Kilrush, County Clare.

Mary Ronan Eustace, widow of Patrick Eustace of Shanakea More, died of senile decay on May 21, 1910 in Shanakea, Labasheeda, Killadysert, County Clare

7. Michael Eustace,                            1Q       81        Mullingar                    3          197

Michael Eustace, a widower, about 81 years old, occupation, farmer, died at Farra (sometimes Farrau), County Westmeath, of senile decay, no medical attendant, on January 21, 1910. John Eustace, his son, was present at the death which was registered in Multyfarnham District, Mullingar Union, County Westmeath on February 4, 1910.

Michael Eustace, born about 1829, died 21 January 1910 in Townland Farrow (also Farrau), Westmeath. Michael’s wife Catherine (Parker) Eustace died 10 February 1907.

 

8. Patrick Eustace,                             1Q       0          Dublin, North              2          426

Patrick Eustace, a three month old child, son of a harness maker (John H. Eustace), died at 15 Findlater Place, Dublin, of bronchitis, (six days), certified; on February 4, 1910. His father, John H. Eustace, was present at the death which was registered at No. 1, North City District, North Dublin Union, County Dublin on February 5, 1910.

Note: Patrick Eustace, son of John Eustace, laborer and Margaret Meegan of Findlater Place, Dublin North City, was born 1 Nov 1909;

 

9. Thomas Eustace,                            4Q       88        Naas                            2          615
Thomas Eustace, a married farmer, died 13 October 1910 at approximately age 88. Anne Eustace, daughter was present at the death which occurred in Shankhill and was registered 5 November 1910 by K. Reilly, Registrar. Thomas Eustace, the son of Alexander Eustace and Mary Mason was born about 1822 in County Wicklow and married Mary Murphy 2 July 1860 at Blessington. Thomas and Mary Eustace lived at Shankill, Kilbride Parish, County Wicklow.

Note: Mary Eustace nee Murphy an 84 year old farmer’s widow, died 29 June 1904 of old age. Mary Murphy, daughter of Martin Murphy and Mary Mackey of Ballinaliva, County Kilkenny, was born about 1820 in County Wicklow and married Thomas Eustace of Ballynascorney, County Dublin on 2 July 1860 at Blessington. Mary and Thomas Eustace lived at Shankill and were the parents of eleven children; James, Alexander, Margaret, Anastatia, John, Jane, John, Mary, Ellen, Ann and Thomas.
