Catherine Eustace; a clerk’s widow, age
about 73 years old; died at Johns Lane, Waterford, of cardiac dilation,
certified, on January 19, 1911. John Eustace, her son of Bank Place,
Waterford was present at the death which was registered in the District
of Waterford No. 22, Urban, Waterford Union, County Waterford on January
26, 1911; J.D. Sullivan, Registrar.

Note: Catherine Eustace was born about
1838. The 1901 Census of Ireland shows Catherine Eustace, a widow,
age about 60 years ,listed as head of household at house 4.2 in John's
Lane (Waterford Urban No. 3, Waterford) together with three unmarried
children; Thomas, age 30, solicitor’s clerk; Edward, 28, general
laborer, and Bridget, age 25, no occupation listed. All were born in
Waterford City, were Roman Catholic and could read and write (except
Catherine who was unable to read or write.)

John Eustace; a van boy, age about 14
years and ten months; died on Kimmage Road, Terenure from compression of
the brain following a fractured on August 24, 1911 when he accidentally
fell off a van near Fortfield House . An inquest was held on 25 August
1911, and a certificate received from Louis H. Byrne, coroner. The death
which was registered in the District of Crumlin, South Dublin Union,
County Dublin on August 26, 1911; Henry Davy, Registrar.

charwoman, spinster, age about 45 years old; died at 4 North Brunswick
Street on March 25, 1911 from endocarditis (two months) and cardiac
dilation; certified. Philip Driscoll, inmate of 4 North Brunswick
Street, Dublin was present at the death which was registered in the
District of No. 3, North City, North Dublin Union, County and City of
Dublin on March 27, 1911; M. S. Walsh, Registrar.

Owen, (possibly Eugenius or
Eugene) , son of John Eustace, blacksmith, was born about 4 June 1835,
and married Sarah Delaney, daughter of John and Sarah Delaney at
the Church of St. Michael’s of
Kingstown, County Dublin on 3 June 1895. Owen lived at Grange House,
Kill at the time of the marriage. He married twice, had no children and
lived in Dublin. The 1911 census shows him living at 9 Sarsfield Street,
Inn’s Quay, Dublin, with the family of Bridget Whelan, a relative, who
was born in Wexford.

Thomas Eustace from Coolmuinga died of
tuberculosis April 24, 1911 in Union Hospital, Kilrush, County Clare at
the age of 3 ½. He was the son of a servant and appears to be the son
of Kate Eustace. His father is unknown.

November 27, 1911 from hip disease and exhaustion; certified. J.H.

Dublin on November 27, 1911; H.W. Oulton, Registrar.
