Anne Eustace; baptized December 1878 at Rhode; died 20 May 1884 of croup at age five years. Anne was the daughter of Christopher Eustace, son of Edward of Togher, King’s County who was born about 1832 and Catherine Rigney, daughter of John Rigney of Kilduff. Anne’s parents were married in Philipstown District on 26 July 1869.

Julia, daughter of Michael Eustace and Mary Hamilton of Ballyfolan, Kilbride Parish, County Wicklow, was born 20 February 1884 and died soon after birth.

 

3. Margaret Eustace,             1Q       80        Carlow                        3          327

Margaret Eustace, about 80 years old, of Roscat, County Carlow; a laborer’s widow, died February 17, 1884 of old age, no medical attendant. Catherine (her X mark) Hayden of Roscat was present at the death which was registered March 5, 1884 in Tullow District, Carlow Union, County Carlow; H. Kidd, Registrar.

Margaret Eustace was about 1804.

 

4. Martin Eustace,                  4Q       0          Waterford                   4          552

Martin Eustace, a nine month old son of a laborer, died at Union Hospital, Waterford on October 12, 1884 of exhaustion from burns to an arm (21 days), certified.  W. Reidy, occupier, Waterford Workhouse was present at the death which was registered October 18, 1884 in Waterford District No. 1, Waterford Union, County Waterford, R. Cutler, Registrar.

Note: Martin Eustace was born about January 1884.

 

5. Maria Eustace,                   3Q       1          Dublin, South              1          459

Maria Eustace, of 35 Upper Mount Pleasant Avenue, Dublin; a daughter of a dyer, age one year and three months, died September 7, 1884 of diarrhea (7 days), uncertified, no medical attendant. Alice M.M. Eustace, mother of 35 Upper Mount Pleasant Avenue was present at the death which was registered September 24, 1884 in Rathmines District, Dublin South Union, County Dublin.

Note: Maria Eustace was born June 7, 1883 at Rathmines, County Dublin to Arthur Eustace, and Alice Southern of 35 Upper Mount Pleasant Avenue Dublin.

Mary Eustace (formerly Hamilton), married, about 42 years old, wife of a laborer, Ballyfolan, Blessington District, County Wicklow died 4 March 1884 from debility following parturition, (fourteen days), certified. Her husband Michael (his X mark) Eustace was present at the death which occurred at Ballyfolan, Manor Kilbride. The death was recorded 8 March, 1884, K. Reilly, Registrar. Mary Eustace formerly Hamilton was born about 1842.

Note: Mary Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, farmer of Ballyfolan, County Wicklow married Michael Eustace, son of Patrick Eustace, laborer on 8 October 1874 at Kilbride Chapel, Manor Kilbride, County Wicklow.

7. Michael Eustace,                4Q       0          Dublin, South              2          540

Michael Eustace, about three months old, son of a laundress, South Dublin Union (S.D.U.) Workhouse, Dublin, died December 18, 1884 from debility, certified. A. Fraser, occupier, S.D.U. was present at the death which occurred at S.D.U. Workhouse. The death was recorded December 20, 1884.

Note: Michael Eustace, son of Rosanne Eustace, was born September 22, 1884 at the South Dublin Workhouse. The father was not identified in the birth record.

Patrick Eustace, married, about 41 years old, a plasterer, of Farrell Street, Kells, County Meath, died April 2, 1884 from phthisis (two years), certified. Anne (her X mark) McMahon, was present at the death which occurred at Farrell Street, Kells. The death was recorded April 28, 1884.

Thomas S. Eustace, of 2 George’s Terrace, Clontarf, a 29 year old clerk, died December 9, 1884 of tuberculosis of the lungs (three years), certified.  Mary (her X mark) Brick of 2 George’s Terrace was in attendance at the death which was registered December 17, 1884 in the Clontarf and Howth District No. 1, North Dublin Union, County Dublin; William J. Gibson, Registrar.
