Anne Eustace; age about 75 years, widow of a groom; living at Ballyedmond, District of Killenagh and Wells, Gorey Union,  County Wexford, died June 11, 1873, of bronchitis from which she suffered twenty years; no medical attendant was present. Bridget Doyle (her X mark) was present at the death which occurred at Ballyedmond. The death was recorded on June 1, 1873 by H. Birthistle, Registrar.

Anne Eustace was born about 1798.

 

2. Anne Eustace,                                             65        New Ross                    14        529

Anne Eustace; married; age about 65 years, farmer’s wife, living at Ballywilliam, Templeudigan New Ross,  County Wexford, died January 8, 1873, of asthma from which she suffered ten days. Edmond Eustace was present at the death which occurred at Ballywilliam. The death was recorded on August 18, 1873 by James Rickerby, Registrar.

Anne Eustace was born about 1808.

 

3. Bridget Eustace,                                         3          Dublin, South              7          634

Bridget, daughter of Denis Eustace, labourer, and Jane Norton of Terenure, County Dublin died at about 3 years of age; she was born 24 November 1869 at 1 Howard’s Lane, Terenure, County Dublin.

 

4. Charles Eustace,                                         5          Rathdown                   7          751

Charles, son of John Eustace and Anne Ward of Stillorgan, County Dublin died at about 5 years of age in 1872; he was born 8 May 1866 at Stillorgan, Rathdown District, County Dublin.

 

5. Ellen Eustace,                                             69        Thomastown               9          657

Ellen Eustace, a farmer’s widow, age about 69 years, died 5 May 1873 at the Thomastown workhouse of general debility (two years), certified. Richard Griffith, Chief Resident Officer, Thomastown Workhouse was the informant of the death which was registered on May 27, 1873 in the District and Union of Thomastown, County Kilkenny; Miles Sterling; Registrar.

Note: Ellen Mary Eustace was born about 1804 John Eustace, Tiroe, Ullard Parish and William Eustace, Rathclogh, Danesfort Parish, are listed as residents of County Kilkenny in Griffith's Valuation.

 

6. Ellen Eustace,                                             24        Gorey                          2          792

Ellen Eustace, spinster, of Knockina, a twenty-four year old dressmaker, died 24 January 1873 of bronchitis (five weeks), certified. Edward Eustace of Knockina was present at the death which was registered on 3 February, 1873 in the District and Union of Gorey, County Wexford; George Weldon; Registrar.

 

7. Ellen Eustace,                                             33        Dublin, North              7          437

Ellen Mary Eustace, spinster, Governess, age about 33 years, died 6 May 1873 of cerebral disease, of some duration, (uncertified) at 8 Seville Place, North Dublin, City of Dublin. Caroline Eustace of 88 Seville Place was present at the death which was registered May 13, 1873. J.P. Nowlan, Deputy Registrar.

Note: Ellen Mary Eustace was born about 1840.

 

8. Honor Eustace,                                           45        Naas                            12        559

Oner (Honor) nee Conlon/Connellan; wife of Oliver Eustace, of Knock Bawn; died August 19, 1873; age 46 years (She was born about 1827); Oliver Eustace, a farmer at Knockbawn, Kilbride Parish; died 7 February 1901; age 86 years, (he was born about 1815). Both are buried at Manor Kilbride Cemetery, County Wicklow.

 

9. Johanna Eustace,                           60        New Ross                    9          643

Johanna Eustace; widow; age about 60 years, labourer’s widow, living at Templeudigan New Ross,  County Wexford, died June 2 1873, of consumption (Tuberculosis) from which she suffered seven months. John Eustace was present at the death which occurred at Templeudigan. The death was recorded on June 5, 1873 by James Rickerby, Registrar.

Johanna Eustace was born about 1813.

 

10. John Eustace,                               50        Rathdown                   7          757

John Eustace, a laborer, age about 50 died on May 4, 1873 at the Rathdown Workhouse of dysentery, three months duration; certified. The death was certified on May 21, 1873. Informant was Richard Thompson, Chief Resident Officer, Rathdown Union Workhouse; John Leney, Registrar at Rathmichael District, Rathdown Union, County Dublin.

Note: John Eustace was born about 1823.

John, son of John Eustace and Anne Ward of NT Park, County Dublin died at about 3 years of age in 1873; he was born 23 April 1870 at NT Park, Rathdown District, County Dublin.

 

12. John Eustace,                               70        Kilrush                                    14        232

John Eustace, a widowed farmer, died of debility and old age on July 21, 1873 in the Kilrush Workhouse, Kilrush, County Clare.  John is believed to be the husband of Mary Cullinan.  And John is believed to be the brother of Simon Eustace who was married to Bridget McNamara, Michael Eustace from Knockerry East, Mary Eustace married to Francis McMahon, and Patrick Eustace.  They all farmed in Gowerhass.

13. Mary Eustace,                              5          Dublin, South              7          634

Mary Eustace, a female child, age about 5 years, died 13 April 1873 of scarlatina (Scarlet Fever), six days, (certified) at the village of Terenure, County Dublin. Denis (his mark) Eustace of Terenure was present at the death which was registered April 13, 1873; Albert Croly, Deputy Registrar.

Note: Mary Eustace was born about 1868.

 

14. Mary Eustace,                              68        Dublin, South              2          639

Mary Eustace, age about 68, a widowed bookbinder of 7 East Essex Street, Dublin South, died March 19, 1873 of old age and debility (certified). Jane (her X mark) Doyle of 192 North King Street was present at the death which was registered March 20, 1873.

Note: Mary Eustace was born about 1805.

 

15. Mary Eliz. Eustace,                      0          Dublin, North              17        374

Mary Elizabeth Eustace, a female child, daughter of a porter, age about three months old, died August 18, 1873 of infantile convulsions, one week, (certified) at No. 2 Butters Court, Dorset Street, Dublin. Mary (her mark) Eustace of 2 Butters Court was present at the death which was registered October 22, 1873; Joseph E. Kenny, Deputy Registrar.

Note: Mary Elizabeth Eustace was born 4 June 1873. Her parents were Thomas Eustace & Mary Hinchey.

16. Patrick Eustace,                           60        Cashel                         3          398

Patrick Eustace, a laborer, of Cashel, age about 60, no marital status listed, died January 1, 1873 from injuries caused by a horse and car passing over his body. Information concerning the death was received from James J. Shee, coroner for County Tipperary and was registered in the Cashel District and Union, County Tipperary on March 7, 1873; Michael P. Cormack, Registrar.

17. Robert Eustace,                            36        Dublin, North              12        370

Robert Eustace, a bachelor, from the Drogheda Gaol; occupation plasterer, died of phthisis, four months duration; certified, on 22 August 1873 at the Royal Dublin Lunatic (R.D.L.) Asylum. Mark Cardiff of the R.D.L. Asylum was present during the final illness. The death was registered 26 August 1873 at Dublin North No. 3, City of Dublin; W. D. White, Deputy Registrar.
