George Eustice was born May 11, 1882 at Janesville, Waseca County, Minnesota. He married Bertha Sill (David Sill and Emma Cowles) on September 1, 1903 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Janesville, Minnesota. George spent his early years on the family farm about four miles north of Janesville. His early education was received in a rural school near Janesville. He settled in Janesville and was engaged in the oil business and for several years had charge of the farm trade in the Janesville area for an oil company. He died October 2, 1949. His funeral was held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Janesville with Fr. English in charge. Pallbearers were nephews Benjamin, Ransom, Joseph, Raymond and William Eustice and friend Herbert Braatz. Bertha Sill Eustice died June 25, 1970. Both are buried in St. Ann's Cemetery, Janesville, MN.
Family of George Eustice and Bertha Sill:
1). John David Eustice, born February 12, 1905 in Janesville Township, Waseca County, MN. He married Marian Van Core on January 28, 1928 at the city of Belle Plaine, Scott County, Minnesota. He died December 4, 1978 in San Jose, California.
