Back Row: William, Andrew, John & James. James Henry Eustice3 (JOHN 2, JAMES 1) James Henry Eustice was born October 8, 1867 at Marquette, Michigan. He came to the village of Okamon on the shores of Lake Elysian in 1869, with his parents as a two year old child. He attended rural schools in the Janesville area and on November 10, 1891, James Eustice married Catherine Hogan (Andrew Hogan and Mary Handerhan) at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Janesville.  James and Catherine Eustice farmed in Sections 14 and 23 of Janesville Township before purchasing land in Section 24 of Alton Township, Waseca County in 1895, where they remained until about 1924, when they moved to Janesville. Catherine died February 3, 1939 at Janesville. James died October 29, 1950 at Janesville, Mn. The cause of James Eustice's death was described as a heart ailment. He had been ill only about ten days before his death. Pallbearers at the funeral of James Eustice were Henry Eustice, Janesville; Ransom Eustice, Mankato; Raymond Eustice, Waldorf; Joseph Eustice, Waseca; and Lee Tetzlaff and Herbert Braatz of Janesville. James Eustice was a member of the Knights' of Columbus and a lifelong parishioner at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Janesville. Catherine and James Eustice are buried in St. Ann's Cemetery near Janesville. Children of James Eustice and Cathrine Hogan: 1). Eustice was married February 10, 1920 to Mary Gertrude Donelan (Thomas Donelan and Mary Ellen Lang) at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Janesville. 2). Andrew Jerome Eustice; born July 20,1894 at Janesville, Mn. and died November 17,1966 at Faribault, Rice County, Mn. He married Ann Donelan (Thomas Donelan and Mary Ellen Lang on February 6, 1928 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Janesville, MN. 3). Ann Eustice; born March 2,1898 in Alton Township, Waseca County, Mn. and died ________. She married Cyril "Sig" Gilday, son of Hugh Gilday and Ann O’Hare on January 4, 1926 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Janesville, MN. 4). Mary Veronica Eustice, born April 6,1900 in Alton Township, Waseca County, Minnesota. Mary Eustice married Martin V. Delaney at Portage, WI. On xxxxxxxx. She died February 25, 1988 at Janesville, Waseca County, Mn. She married Martin Delaney D.V.M. at Columbus, Wisconsin on November 14,1952. 5). Male infant; born February 5, 1903, died February 19, 1903. 6).James Christopher Eustice; born December 17,1901 in Alton Township, Waseca County, MN. and died February, 5,1955 at Cleveland, Ohio. He married Mary "Mayme" Lichtenberg on June 25, 1925 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Cleveland, Ohio. 7). William Joseph Eustice ; born May 8,1904 in Alton Township, Waseca County, Mn; and died May 16,1975 at LeSueur, LeSueur County, Mn. He married 1) Marie Nicholson on September 1, 1939 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Janesville, MN; and 2) Mary Conroy Pautz on November 10, 1962 at LeSueur. William Eustice is buried in Calvary Cemetery, LeSueur, MN. 8). Thomas F. Eustice; born November 26,1907 in Alton Township, Waseca County, Mn; and died August 1, 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio. He married Eleanor Dow on ____________-in Cleveland, Ohio.
