Jean-Baptiste⁷ Rémillard; Guillaume¹, Francois², Francois³, Augustin⁴, Pierre⁵; Remi⁶;  (Remi & Marguerite Plante) ; born 4 Nov 1831 at St-Cuthbert, Berthier County, Quebec; he married Angele Manaigre at St-Cuthbert, Quebec on 11 February 1850 at St-Cuthbert, Berthier County, Quebec; (she was born 9 February 1830) daughter of Pierre Manaigre and Judith Chevrette. He was working in a blanket mill at Holyoke, Massachusetts according to 1880 US census, Angele is listed as a house keeper; Jean Baptiste Remillard, age 74 and Angele Mainagre, age 75 appear on the 1906 Canadian census (Page 12) for Lorette, Manitoba.

1.      Magloire Remillard; born 27 Dec 1851 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier, PQ; he died 15 Jun 1928 in St-Boniface, Manitoba; buried in Lorette, Manitoba; he married Cordelia Cote, 12 Feb 1872 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island; she was born 5 May 1855 and died 15 Oct 1910 in Lorette, Rural Municipality of Tache, Manitoba;

2.   Eliza F. Remillard; born 1854 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier, PQ; listed on 1880 US census as working in woolen mill, age 17 years; she married Alfred Lavallee on 28 Feb 1876 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier, PQ; he was born 26 Mar 1851 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier, PQ. They had at least three children: 

3.   Jeremiah Rémillard; born 1856; he married Emma Vandandaique dit Gadbois (Guillaume & Lucie Guertin) on 1 January 1881 at Precieux Sang (Precious Blood) Church in Holyoke, Massachusetts; died 29 August xx?? at St. Cuthbert, Quebec;

4.    Octavien N. Remillard; born July 1858 in St-Cuthbert, Berthier, PQ; he married Delia Audet dit LaPointe on 24 February 1881 in St-Cuthbert, PQ; she was born April 1862 in Canada; The family lived in Lorette, Manitoba from 1893 and 1898. The family returned to the US sometime after 1898. Octavien Remillard died at Holyoke, Massachusettrs 27 July 1912 from acute dilation of the heart (chronic endo and myocarditis) and is buried in Notre Dame Cemetery, Holyoke.
